Hello readers.
I'm proud to say that I've finally graduated from ITE on the 15th May 2014!
It was a good journey filled with awesome classmates and schoolmates along with an enjoyable CCA.
When I first got my GCE O Levels results back in 2012, I was so devastated that I cried and locked myself inside my room for 3 days.
I didn't want to go to ITE at all but well, these 2 years in school did change my perspectives of being an ITE student. (thumbs up)
I started off my ITE journey at Bishan in 2012 where the school is kinda old and I got a news very quickly that we'll be moving to AMK Campus in the following year. Hmm exciting!
My class was IQE that year and I've managed to make great friends there.
IQE, Class of 2012
I first knew Elaine and she left me a strong impression cause of her bright pink shoes. In fact, both of us wore coloured shoes instead of black shoes that we're supposed to wear (Oops).
We became good friends and after some time, we were close with Kelly and Karwei too. Well, they got together after a few months later and they're doing fine now. Last long lovebirds!
Soon it was our CCA selection and I initially chose Bridge Leaders cause their uniform is a red polo-t!
However, the interview for BL was long over after I've decided to join them. This is where I've chose to join Student Council, along with Elaine and Karwei. I can say that the starting of the few meetings and a bonding camp we had was quite awkward yet hectic but we did well. I'm glad that I'm part of the blue smurfs there!
We had many events including NDP, Teacher's Day, Nostalgic Night as well as Symbolic Movement.
It's pretty awesome how people from different courses get along together and enjoy each moment we have.
In the second year, we've moved to the AMK campus and it's kinda big for people who go there for the first time.
Sadly, we didn't get to be in the same class in Year 1, hence everybody was separated due to the choice of modules that we took in Year 2. I'm glad that I'm still with Elaine or else I'll be a lost sheep in a new class with new classmates.
BCU, Class of 2013
We had so many events that almost every day in every week, we had to stay back for meetings.
Well, hooray to the juniors who came in during their January/ April intake and that lessen our burden.
We had many events that was even more than what we had in Bishan.
It was so busy that there was one period, I had to stay in school almost everyday and eat out.
Oh how I miss home-cooked food, and on the other hand I'm spending all my money on food in school :(
During my last quarter in ITE, I had project work and needed to find group members to join in other than just Elaine and me. (Yup, we stuck to each other thick and thin till we graduated, literally)
So, my group consists of me, Elaine, Abigail, Jaslin and Peizhen. It was a smooth start at first but slowly, we got a little "bump" through our project route. Not really pleasant but we got better after that.
Nearing 2 months to my final examinations, I met someone special (smiles)
We started off as just acquaintance and didn't even talk to him when I first met him.
During the second meet up where we went to Pulau Ubin with some of our Student Council juniors as well as some of my good friends (Xiangting, Jonathan, Kenneth and Joel), we started talking to each other a little but not as much due to being unfamiliar with each other.
Soon after about a month plus, we both confirmed our feelings with each other.
And wala! We got together :D
My handsome man *smooches*
He saw me cry, rage, laughed till my tears came out etc. It's really awesome and I'm so blessed to have him by my side :) ♥
Graduation day has finally arrived.
Didn't have any mixed feelings and I don't even know why. I only looked forward to meeting my classmates and schoolmates which I've not seen them for a while.
Not forgetting to take photos that was highlight of the day!
Didn't take as much pictures due to time constrain and I was so so so hungry.
I couldn't find some of my friends to take photos with me too but nevertheless, it was good :)
Moving on to NYP now and I'll definitely keep all these precious memories within my heart.
I'll never forget my close friends and well as the teachers who've taught us in both years.
Kudos to all and belated happy graduation!
